Rolex Submariner 5513
The Rolex Submariner reference 5513 was introduced in 1962 and produced until 1989. The 5513 had a very long production period of less than 27 years. During this period, this model underwent a number of important changes, which are mainly reflected in the three different types of the dials: gilt, matte and glossy. The last version of the 5513 Submariner featured a dial with a glossy finish, called the glossy dial. The 5513 has remained true to the Submariner's original and timeless design over the years.
This Submariner dates from the year 1989 and is therefore one of the last series in the production of the 5513 series. The watch features the beautiful glossy dial and the domed plexiglass provides a nice depth and movement in the dial. The Oyster bracelet shows no stretch for its age and the case is in good condition. The 5513 is timeless and the perfect daily watch that any watch enthusiast should own. This lovely Submariner has just been returned from a fresh service and comes with a 1 year mechanical warranty.
Rolex Submariner
The world's first waterproof Oyster case was introduced in 1926 by Hans Wilsdorf. The Rolex Submariner appeared on the market in 1953. This was one of the first wristwatches in the world designed specifically for divers. This watch had to be very accurate and reliable. The time under water could be measured with the rotatable bezel. To this day, the Submariner is Rolex's most iconic model.
