Rolex Submariner 16610 (Full-Set / NL delivered) 2004
This sporty and chic neo-vintage Rolex Submariner reference 16610 dates from the year 2004 (F-series). The production run of the F-series was from 2003 to 2005. The watch is from the first owner and was purchased in Amsterdam on 1 July 2004. This beautiful Rolex Submariner 16610 is completely period correct and comes as a complete set where actually everything is still preserved.
The aluminium bezel is still fully in tact and has the well-known ''flat 4''. The replaced (service) bezels were fitted with a ''sharp 4''. The sapphire crystal is scratch-free and still has the laser-engraved Rolex crown without the ''S''. This is therefore not a service glass.
The sporty 93250 Oyster bracelet with solid endlinks shows an acceptable stretch for tits age and comes on its full number of 13 links including the two divers extensions of which one is supplied separately. The clasp features the CL4 code which corresponds to the year 2004.
This Rolex Submariner is really in beautiful condition. It seems the case has been slightly polished during the two revisions at the official retailer, but is still thick and has nice sharp lugs. The reliable 3135 caliber has been fully serviced twice by the official authorised dealer (the two official Rolex service cards are also included) In addition, this beautiful Submariner 16610 comes with: its outer box, box, Rolex anchor, bezel protector, hangtag, pricetag, Rolex wallet, Rolex calendar, warranty papers, manual, Oyster booklet, translation booklet, service pouch, foam, old Rolex pricelist catalogue and 12-month warranty from 10 over 10.

The Rolex Submariner history
The world's first waterproof Oyster case was introduced in 1926 by Hans Wilsdorf. In 1953 the Rolex Submariner appeared on the market. This was one of the first wristwatches in the world especially designed for divers. The Submariner is a true legend within the world of watchmaking. The model has managed to stay in production for many years. This watch had to be very accurate and reliable. With the rotating bezel, the time could be measured under water. Until today the Submariner is the most iconic model of Rolex.
The Rolex Submariner 16610
In the year 1987, 33 years after the introduction of the first Submariner, Rolex introduced the reference 16610. This reference replaced the 168000. The Rolex Submariner 16610 was in production until the year 2010. Amongst enthusiasts it has always been a very popular model. The Submariner 16610 is a perfect mix between vintage and modern. For example the beautiful slim vintage case style that was fitted with lugholes until 2003, the aluminium bezel with the modern sapphire crystal, and the reliable 3135 movement with quick-set date function that makes the watch user-friendly. The watch originally had a black glossy dial with Swiss - T <25 tritium markers and hands. From the year 2000, the dial and hands were provided with Luminova, indicated by the Swiss Made marking. From the year 2008, the inner case was engraved, also called Rehaut, with the serial number at the 6 o'clock position.
